What are the 3 major differences beween the events of mitosis and meiosis?

OK I'm not really good at biology but the only thing i know is that mitosis is for the aual reproduction( when the mother cell divides to form two identical cell etc.) and meiosis is for the ual reproduction and i guess you already know about that one, so i don't have to explain it to you.
